Adventure through the wilds of Alaska on the famed Alaska Railroad for a 7 day journey in First Class “Goldstar Service” luxury!

See the Denali Backcountry on an Adventure through Denali National Park. Visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and get up close and personal with bears, moose, bison, eagles, big  cats, caribou, foxes, owls, wolves and much more.

Then, step aboard a wildlife and glacier cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park.

In between all the excitement you’ll travel through the twists and turns of the Alaskan scenic wilderness on the Coastal Classic, Glacier Discovery, and Denali Star trains, in posh luxury Goldstar Service from the Alaskan Railroad, including glass dome ceilings, private outdoor viewing platforms, inclusive dining at the full-service dining car, complimentary adult beverages, and more.

This trip includes all accommodations during trips in hotels, including the world famous Hotel Alyeska, and pre and post stay in Anchorage. Airfare to and from Anchorage can be arranged at an extra cost.



Day 1

Arrive in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. Book an excursion, or explore shops, museums and restaurants at your leisure. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 2

Travel north on the Denali Star Train to Denali National Park. Upon arrival, visit the Husky Homestead kennel to get an in-depth look at what it takes to win the Iditarod Sled Dog Race – and get a chance to cuddle a sled dog puppy. Overnight in Denali.

Day 3

Embark on a full-day journey along the 92-mile Denali Park Road. Your experienced guide will keep you informed and on the lookout for bears, moose, caribou, Dall sheep and more. Enjoy lunch in the heart of the Park before making the return journey. Overnight in Denali.

Day 4

The morning is yours to explore in Denali. That afternoon, take the Denali Star Train south to Anchorage. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 5

Ride the Glacier Discovery Train along scenic Turnagain Arm to Portage, where you’ll disembark to visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Re-board the train and continue on to the Spencer Glacier, where you’ll enjoy an adventurous afternoon of rafting amid glacial icebergs. Overnight at the Hotel Alyeska.

Day 6

Board the Coastal Classic Train for Seward, gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. Spend the day cruising the fjords, watching for humpback and orca whales, sea lions, otters and more. Return by rail to Anchorage and overnight.

Day 7

Depart from Lake Hood, the world’s busiest float plane airport, to Redoubt Bay, home of one of the most concentrated and viewable bear populations in Alaska. Enjoy a half-day of bear viewing with your experienced naturalist guide before returning to Anchorage.

Booking this package constitutes a deposit (even if paid in full) based on the acknowledgement that the actual prices may vary from the published rates depending on hotel and tour selections.
